Omaha Trip

Here are some pictures from our visit to Omaha while Cory was in Cuba. We had an awesome time with my family and of course Marcus got spoiled the whole time.

This one was technically taken in South Carolina while we were strawberry picking.

Marcus is getting so strong and big and loves to sit and play with toys.

Chilling with one of the awesome lifeguards at the pool.

Learning to swim...He is such a fish!

Exhausted after swimming all afternoon.

We went downtown one afternoon and went to see the overflowing Missouri River.

Marcus at his first street fair.

He seriously has the best smile ever. It is so contagious.

Getting love from his Godparents!

I asked Cody to watch Marcus while I went to shower and get dressed one morning and this is what I came back to.

Matching shirts with his Grandpa!

New generation of crazies!

May & 6 months

May was super busy and crazy for us! Some accomplishments for Marcus...he sits up by himself, he has mastered army crawling, and he is eating a ton! So far he has tried and liked sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, squash, peas, bananas, mangos, and peaches.

We started out the month by traveling to Nebraska for Cory's brother, Andrew's graduation from the University of Nebraska.

Since the graduation was in Nebraska we got to spend time with my family as well. This is Marcus playing in the grass at my parent's house. We do not have grass here so this was a new and exciting experience for him!

Getting love from my sweet boy on my first Mother's Day!

Marcus turned 6 months old on May 24th! I can not believe how fast he is growing up and how big he is getting. He sits up and plays all by himself now.

I got to go back to Uganda for a week (more to come from that later). Here are a couple of pictures my sweet friend Carla took of Marcus for me while I was away!
He is seriously such a stud and has the best personality!

And last but not least, an awesome video of Marcus laughing. His laugh, like his smile, is contagious!
